JRS Grande Concertmaster XL #981
This is a wonderful JRS Grande Concertmaster XL. As is typical for our professional recording dulcimers this one is one-of-a-kind. One uncommon feature on this dulcimer is that it has the Super Bass on the left side, rather than the right where we normally place them. It has a rich tone and a smooth balance of dynamics all the way up the scale. I have this instrument back because the lovely woman who owned it unfortunately passed away a few years back. This is a sad one for me because she was a friend! This exact model with all it's features if ordered new today would run "significantly" more. This one ... is "experienced" ... as they say. And one of a kind with a beautiful, although, sad ... story.
